Massage works with our bodies innate ability to heal itself
Previously, I thought getting a massage was a luxury. Now, I think of it as health maintenance. Just like a car needs oil changes and maintenance, your body (as a vehicle for your life experience) needs attention too.
I love what I do and haven't worked a day since I started doing massage in 2012. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I worked in the corporate world of financial services. I thought the only way to enjoy life would be to retire!
But I'd always sought a better way. I'd done some traveling around the US - walked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain, joined the Peace Corps and went to Kazakhstan, moved to NYC with a suitcase.
Then I decided I wanted to enjoy everyday and started my massage career, training in both Therapeutic Massage and Shiatsu (a form of acupressure that originated in Japan.)
I've worked with a wide range of clients including Twin Cities Marathon runners, college and professional athletes, golfers and non-golfers alike at Sand Valley Golf Resort and clients who just need to relax and rejuvenate!
